Hello Everyone,

This week has gone by a tine better than last week I was too sick and I have been too nervous which has been great I still can’t belive it has been two years it went by way too fast D: but it has been so great and I’m going to miss it but I’m sure that’s what they all say it’s going to be weird to see you guys Thursday.

Nothing to exciting has happened this week besides my zone leaders pointing out how at district meeting how it was my last one and that I’m going home so that fun…. and I have been packing slowly this week just so I don’t have to rush at the last second and now I have pretty much everything packed and I’ll try not to get my pack stolen but no promises well love you all and can’t wait to see you guys.

This week we weren’t able to do much because I managed to get sick for like 4 or 5 days and I’m still not feeling the best but on Sunday we had stake conference and the stake president was changing so we had the president of the seventy come so that was really cool in the adult session he talked about hasting the work and how as members things we could do and how angles are always here helping us do the work. And on Sunday he talked about the spirit and how throw it we can do many great things so that was really cool. Well that’s really all for this week

Hello everyone,

this week it has been raining off and on which has been nice and thank you for the other “pills” my comp and i liked them a lot it sucks that’s it really humid there it has been really nice out here this summer some of the plans for the ward missionary work is to have PMG in all the member homes and to have them study from them often and to encourage members to share missionary moments and thing in that nature and we have scheduled an missionary 5th Sunday in December which sounds like it will be great i can really see the work being hasten here and it has been amazing.

This week went by alright we had interviews this last Saturday and president bell brought up what’s going to happen my last day here which made me a little sad. Oh and I just got my flight plans….. I still can’t believe that I’m going home soon. Our ward mission leader has been trying to get the ward excited about member missionary work and he has been trying out some great ideas I’m excited to see how things go with him while we help out. My comp is happy to hear the meds are coming I’ve been out since Thursday :D. Well that’s all this week I’ll grab my camera next week to send you some pics

This week went by pretty slow pretty much everyone we tried wasn’t home which sucked but oh well.. we didn’t do much yesterday we didn’t even realize it was labor day until we headed to the library and saw that it was closed so we stayed home and played some games which was fun this week is interviews so that’s exciting other than that nothing too exciting sorry….

Oh and I got Grandma’s letter and her cookies this week and the both were great 😀

Things are going great with my new comp. He is pretty cool and he is from Hooper Utah. And he has only been out 4 months. this week we went out to Ness City which is about an hour and a half away to do some work there and we stayed the night with some members and then did some more work then headed home it is cool how you could just be driving and see nothing but fields then all of a sudden a town pops out of the horizon and then before you know it the town is gone behind us. And there are some towns that we can only get to by dirt roads which sometimes sucks when it has been raining and the roads are all muddy. Oh and we just got a new ward mission leader our old one lived about an hour away and was always working. And our new one lives in town and he just moved in so were pretty excited about that well that’s about all this week.

hello everyone this week is transfers and it looks like I’ll be ending my mission in Scott City but with a new comp his name is Elder Simmons he was in my last zone he seems pretty cool. I’m happy to be able to stay in Scott but sad to see Elder Arend leave but that’s the life of a missionary… I haven’t got the letter from grandma yet and I have felt like I have changed a whole lot I’ve noticed that have been able to handle stuff better and be more confident and there are other things that I have noticed too. I still can’t believe that this will be my last transfer it is so insane how fast the mission has gone. Well that’s all for this week write you all next time

hello everyone this week we had zone conference out in Dodge City this was fun and a really long car ride…  other than that  this week was pretty uneventful oh I guess Sunday we talked to our bishop about the area and maybe getting a new ward mission leader because the one we have right now lives really far away and sometimes can’t make it to church and other meetings and the bishop has already been thinking about that which was good and we can really see this area slowly but surely getting ready to explode in missionary work which is really exciting we I think that’s all fro this week

first is in Wichita on his name is G… we read scripters with him every week he is a member just a little slow but we read with him to also help his reading compression because he wants to better his living and get out of section 8 housing and stuff like that

Hello everyone

That’s good that you sent my pills my comp was getting worried. It is pretty weird to hear that Joseph is getting married. We did met this older couple who had met with missionaries in the past and didn’t know why they stopped coming by they are really nice. and in the last couple of weeks Elder Arend and I have been working hard and try to gain ward trust which has been going great yesterday when we were in ward council one of them members made the comment about how great we were as missionaries and everyone else agreed and we are see that this area is getting really close to really get going which is really awesome. It has been awesome serving here and i hope to be able to finish my mission here

Hello everyone

we haven’t found anyone new and no new connections but I did learn that Tom Yager told all the kids that he was dealing with Vietnam so that would behave and give him no trouble and I learned that when I told them that dad remembered him and that he was a a little scared of him and sister Yager just laughed a little and told me that. The weather has been weird on Thursday it just out of nowhere started pouring and we were outside so we got soaked and since Sunday it has been so cloudy that we haven’t seen the sky and it has been raining on and off. we get feed a lot of beef in good ol’ home cooking which at first was destroying my stomach at first because I was used to the really heavy meals and being feed everyday but now it’s getting better and everything has been great though and I’m sorry I forgot my camera……. but next week for sure I’ll send some pic. We did do something for pioneer day we had a picnic down in garden city.

oh and something fun we did this week we helped a less active with a concert called backyard bash we helped him set all the speakers and stuff like that and we got a free t-shirt for it too and now elder arend and i and some preatty nice sunburns on our faces and necks
